Ziggyloo Refund Policy

Effective Date: June 1, 2025

Last Updated: June 1, 2025

Thank you for choosing Ziggyloo, your partner in playful, personalized learning. We are committed to providing high-quality, engaging educational experiences for children and their families. Please review our refund policy carefully before subscribing to one of our digital plans.

1. 30-Day Free Trial

Ziggyloo offers a free 30-day trial for new users. This allows families to explore our features, characters, stories, and activities before committing to a paid subscription.

  • No credit card is charged during the trial period unless the parent explicitly chooses to upgrade early.

  • At the end of the trial period, the selected subscription (Monthly or Annual) will begin automatically unless cancelled.

  • You can cancel at any time during the trial and will not be charged.

2. Monthly and Annual Subscriptions

We currently offer two subscription tiers:

  • Monthly Family Plan (up to 4 children): $9.95/month

  • Annual Family Plan (up to 4 children): $79/year

Monthly Plan Refunds:

  • Because a free trial precedes the paid period, we do not offer refunds for monthly plans once the payment has been processed.

  • You may cancel anytime to avoid future charges. Your access will remain active until the end of the billing period.

Annual Plan Refunds:

  • A full refund of the annual fee may be granted within the first 14 days of the paid subscription, if the account has not been heavily used (e.g., significant AI resource usage or story/image/video generation).

  • After 14 days, or if substantial usage has occurred, no refund will be issued. However, you may cancel auto-renewal to avoid being charged again the following year.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for an eligible plan, please contact our team:

  • 📧 support@ziggyloo.com

  • Subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Full Name]"

  • Include your registered email, plan type (monthly/annual), and reason for the request.

  • Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

4. Ineligible Refund Scenarios

We are unable to process refunds under the following circumstances:

  • Refund requests submitted after 14 days for annual plans.

  • Accidental purchases after the free trial expires.

  • Dissatisfaction based on child preference, feature expectations, or lack of continued engagement after the trial period.

  • Subscription renewal charges due to non-cancellation. Reminders are sent prior to renewal.

5. App Store Purchases

If you subscribed to Ziggyloo via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, all refunds must be handled directly by those platforms in accordance with their policies.

6. Abuse Prevention

Ziggyloo reserves the right to deny refunds to users who abuse the system through:

  • Multiple free trial signups using different emails

  • Excessive AI usage during trial followed by cancellation

  • Circumventing subscription limits through account duplication

7. We’re Here to Help

We’re a small, passionate team that truly wants to support your child’s learning journey. If you’re unsatisfied for any reason, please reach out. We’ll do our best to make it right.

Ziggyloo AI Use Policy

Effective Date: June 1, 2025

Last Updated: June 1, 2025

At Ziggyloo, we’re proud to use cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) to provide highly personalized, engaging, and safe educational experiences for children. This AI Use Policy explains how and why we use AI, how we safeguard families, and what rights and responsibilities parents have when using our app and services.

1. Why We Use AI

We use AI to make Ziggyloo smarter, more adaptive, and more meaningful for each child. Specifically, our AI may:

  • Tailor stories, games, and conversations to match each child’s learning style and interests

  • Generate creative content such as personalized books, images, and songs

  • Support voice and text interaction with Ziggy and friends

  • Adapt difficulty levels and feedback based on real-time performance

  • Identify patterns to help parents understand their child’s growth and engagement

2. Transparency and Explainability

We strive to ensure that AI-generated content is understandable and age-appropriate. While AI can feel magical, we want families to know:

  • AI responses are generated in real-time based on algorithms and prompts

  • All AI-generated content is filtered to maintain child-safety and comply with family-friendly standards

  • Parents will always have insight into what their children are seeing and interacting with

3. Human Oversight

AI is a powerful tool — but not a substitute for human guidance. Ziggyloo’s systems are:

  • Monitored and updated regularly by our team to ensure safety, accuracy, and developmental appropriateness

  • Designed to escalate certain interactions (e.g., flagged words or sensitive phrases) to human review

  • Not intended to diagnose or replace professional educators, therapists, or caregivers

4. Content Limitations & AI Disclaimers

While we use best-in-class AI models and guardrails, no AI is perfect. We disclaim:

  • The AI may occasionally generate inaccurate or unexpected content

  • Parents should monitor younger children’s usage, especially during exploratory sessions

  • Ziggyloo is not responsible for any harm, misunderstanding, or misinterpretation arising from use of AI-generated materials

  • AI-generated stories, images, and voices are fictional, synthesized, and created for educational entertainment only

5. Data Usage & Privacy

Ziggyloo is COPPA-compliant and committed to protecting your family's data:

  • AI uses only parent-provided profile data and in-app interactions to generate personalized content

  • No personally identifiable information (PII) is used in training AI models

  • Data used to guide AI interactions is stored securely and never sold

  • See our [Privacy Policy] for full details on data handling

6. Parent Controls

Parents can:

  • Choose the level of personalization and AI usage through settings

  • Review and delete stored child interactions

  • Opt out of specific AI-generated features (e.g., image generation) if desired

  • Contact our support team with questions or concerns about how AI is used with their child

7. Ethical AI Commitment

Ziggyloo is committed to responsible and ethical AI by:

  • Partnering with AI providers that adhere to child-safe policies

  • Avoiding harmful biases, stereotypes, or misinformation in generated content

  • Constantly refining moderation filters, safety protocols, and feedback loops

  • Complying with legal and ethical AI development standards

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 3 business days and resolve reported issues within 15 business days whenever possible.

7. Third-Party Services

While we strive to ensure accessibility throughout our ecosystem, some third-party services integrated into Ziggyloo may have their own accessibility limitations. We work closely with these providers and prioritize accessible alternatives whenever available.

8. Continuous Improvement

Ziggyloo is built on the belief that inclusion fuels creativity and learning. Our accessibility goals evolve alongside our technology — and we remain dedicated to listening, learning, and leading with empathy.
